Meet the remaining staff of Blair General Hospital

wishing Ginger a fond good-bye

The day nurse often finds time to read Ginger a story

from her favorite book,  Nurse Nancy

As a surprise, Ginger will get to take home several books

and a free box of band-aides  for her dolls!

The OBGYN nurse , RN  Iaconelli,

stops by to show off the twins she helped deliver!

Above are the windows, plants and TV set in Ginger's room.

"Ozzie and Harriet " is on right now!

Later the nurses will drink cocoa and watch "Winky Dink"

with the patients in the children's wing.

Inventory can be overwhelming sometimes!

But Blair General has state of the art supplies.

The IV nurse is also named Ginger ( small world) !

She confirms by her golden pocket watch

that it is time to check Ginger's ears.

She then  prepares to insert Ginger's final IV .

Ginger offers her wrist for the needle

that will sting just for a second or two.

Ginny, the head nurse removes the IV

and takes Ginger's blood pressure.

 It is just perfect!

Now Ginger must eat a good lunch

before she can go home.  ( burgers! mmm...)

If you look carefully you can see a visitor in the nurse's wagon...

  Ginger's pup, Louie !

(Ginger has missed him all these months!)

The nurse has also filled the wagon with medical supplies

that Ginger will need at home.

(  Louie pretends he is the doctor on call.)

Wendy helps Ginger gather her belongings: golden books, cards,

Chiclets

and a Junior Miss dresser set from Mother.

Ginger will miss Wendy, all her wonderful nurses, and

that handsome Dr. Kildare, who saved her other leg.

She is so happy you are here today to visit and take her home!

She will soon be dancing in her chair

as she says good-bye to all! :)

Please take a flower from this room

 to brighten your day!
