This red and white vanity and red stool are exceptional pieces

 of Watko furniture

 designed in New York specifically for Cosmopolitan’s Ginger. 

Watko furniture is my favorite of all vintage furniture 

produced for eight inch dolls.

 The vinyl shirred material used is reminiscent of classic 1950’s style.

 Belle Kogan, the designer of this furniture, 

achieved fame in the field of architectural design, 

an area most women had yet to explore. 

Watko pieces vary in color and were often made 

with wrought iron frames built to last.

I added the necklace with charms, vintage perfumes, rouge, 

brass jack knife, 

locket showing Linda and me as kids,

 black Ginny headband, plastic hair dryer, Cape Cod pin, 

and vintage black lamp with original shade. 

The small frame on the bench opens. 

I made the little cards that are actually 

much darker than they appear in the photo.
