This Coca-Cola Playtown Luncheonette stand stole my heart the minute I saw it.

For this scene I elevated the store to suit Ginny’s height.

The ice cream cones in the back of the luncheonette are ponytail ties,

gifts from my doll friend Linda.

I made the striped ice cream box but the 60’s vintage hot dog,

bread, and fried eggs were made by Chadwick and called “Dolly Foods.”

The Chadwick foods box included 48 assorted fruits, eggs, and vegetables.

I believe these realistic Chadwick food items

were the forerunners of the exceptionally made

90’s Tyco Kitchen Littles food toys

produced for Barbie and her friends.

Both food toy lines have been discontinued

and remain in great demand by Ginny and Barbie collectors alike.

The hamburger with lettuce and tomato is an example

of a realistic Kitchen Littles mini.

I have painted both the top button and dial on the Kitchen Littles

chrome blender…red over the purple.

The blender blade spins when you turn the dial!

The pink cone and Nestles Quik are Mattel Barbie foods.

The Deluxe boxes are from a 1960’s Deluxe Reading Dream Kitchen

 made by Topper.

The napkin box is a copy of the 50’s My Merry Scotkins box.

The heavy metal register indicates a completed sale.

You may recognize the coasters under the diner dishes

 as mouseketeer records that appeared

on the back of vintage cereal boxes.

The Coke on ice is a magnet.

The large bottle hanging on the back wall

is a prop that came with a Coca Cola polar bear.
