Grey House Creations:

Madame Alexander's Best Kept Secret

by Carolyn Johnson

with Memoir by Maryanne Scova Rosenberg

John Scova and his daughter Mimi (as a child) are pictured in the

 framed 50’s photo far right.

Mr. Scova began a doll furniture company in the 50’s called “Grey House Creations”

and the rest became Madame Alexander furniture history in the making.

Mr. Scova’s early pastel pink furniture from my own collection labeled “Grey House

Creations”. I purchased these pieces from Joyce, the original owner.

She saved her childhood photo with pieces of this very same furniture.
